Day2 woot woot!

go me! i came back and posted 2 days in a row-- and i remembered my password! YAY!!

So last night i ended up making twice baked potatoes-- kind of.. cooked them in the microwave first.. mixed the insides with hamburger meat and sour cream.. then put it back in the skins.. the topped it with some steamed broccoli and cheese.. baked it in the oven for 15 mins.. that with a salad-- it was delicious! :)

This morning Claudia was so sweet and went back to sleep until 9am after getting up at 7 for her normal morning bottle! She snuggled in the bed with me until Gabriel got up.

Did the normal routine house cleaning stuff and played with the babies-- Claudia was so fussy around lunch time because she hadnt slept since 9-- she finally went down around 1:30 and i went ahead and put gabriel down too-- he isnt asleep yet, but he is palying in the bed and hopefully will fall asleep soon.

Found an alternative to french fries (fwah fwah in gabriel language) for gabriel-- sweet potato fries! He had them last week when we went to see a friend of mine and for the kids to do some "modeling" for my friends store. He ate some of my friends sweet potato fries at lunch and loved them! i was so surprised! So i got some frozen ones from walmart and baked him up some today for lunch and he ate them! He wasnt digging the chicken fingers.. so i ended up eating those.. but at least he ate the sweet potatos.. probably much healthier than regular mcdonalds fries.

So we are doing a garden in our backyard this year.. we have never done one ourselves-- my mom had one last sumer but we were recoverying from our injuries from the wreck and couldnt so much-- not that I would get out there, her garden was huge and it was hot outside :) But we are doing to raised bed garden.. just a small 12x4 box. We are going to do tomatoes, onion, green onion, jalepenos, cilantro, and maybe some kind of fruit-- maybe strawberries. Pretty much a salsa garden, but those are the main veggies that we buy from the store.. so that will save us a bit of money too! Gabriel loved picking tomatos in his nana's garden last summer.. so it will be a fun family project.

Have a great day! ---Katy
