Well today-- we went geocaching! (check out www.geocaching.com) I got the idea from a friend of mine that does it all the time and it looked like tons of fun! Basically its like a treasure hunt-- people hide containers and post the coordinates on the website. You then put those coordinates in your gps and go find the container-- sign the log book thats in there and put it back where you found it. There could also be stuff in the container-- just random stuff, which you can take with you, but you have to replace it with something of equal or greater value. Best of all-- its free!! And, this is all over the world!
So we decided to just see what this was all about and i saw that there was one close to our house-- so after breakfast we loaded the kids up in the stroller and went to look for it. Problem was, we couldnt find our GPS, so we decided to just kind of wing it-- i saw on the map.. we can guess. Well, it was only about a block away and we found it!! There was a bunch of pencils, toys, coins, shells, --all kind of stuff in it! So we signed the log book.. and put it back! We were pretty much hooked from there!

So we went back to the house to get in the car and go to the park to find some more! We had a little picnic first-- but no luck finding anymore.. we really needed a gps-- its pretty hard without it! So my goal is to find it before next sunday so we can go again! There is even a geocache across the street from Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitts house here in New Orleans! We may have to go find it-- they are in town while he films a movie-- maybe we will see shiloh! LOL!
Got home and gabriel took a nap while claudia and i went to walmart to get groceries-- she loves shopping with mommy!
My husband was sweet enough to cook dinner for us tonight and it was delicious! AAANNNDDDD My favorite show came on-- Shark Tank!!
I got Gabriel a little soccer ball from walmart today and he LOVES it!! I taught him how to kick it and he went crazy! He even started saying "tickt it!" (kick it!) He is getting so smart-- he is picking up words so fast now! He learned to blow kisses today at breakfast too!
Got claudia down early tonight-- marvin got gabriel bathed and in bed-- ahhhaaa.... time to relax!
